My immediate Florida real estate market covers all of Central Florida, specifically Polk County.

As the geographic center of Florida, it is estimated that more than 7.5 million people reside within a 100 mile radius of Polk County. This is one of the largest concentrations of population in the southeast. Polk County’s largest city is Lakeland

Lakeland is where I have chosen to hang my hat for the last 15 years or so and I don’t plan on moving any time soon. After living in cities like Chicago and Tampa I decided I wanted to live somewhere with a little more laid back old time atmosphere. But don’t let that small town comfort fool you, Lakeland has some of the community ammenities that people from big cities come to expect like a world class civic center that attracts some of the greatest entertainers of our time, great shopping centers and even big time sports. But if you can’t find what you are looking for right here in town don’t worry, chances are you wont have to drive more than an hour in one direction or the other to find it.

Tourism is a strong economic force in Polk County. The local attractions include Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Fantasy of Flight in Polk City, Sun ‘n’ Fun Air Museum in Lakeland and many more. Polk County is also within a one hour drive of Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and Busch Gardens. In addition to these attractions, Polk County is the Spring training headquarters for the Detroit Tigers (Lakeland) and the Cleveland Indians (Winter Haven) baseball teams. We also boast the headquarters for the popular Publix grocery stores.

Polk county is a wonderful place to live whether you are retired, working locally or looking to work in Orlando to the east or Tampa to the West. I-4 makes either direction an easy and quick commute.

Come check us out. You wont be dissapointed.
